All 3 compositions were created with 3 affordances in mind. Affordances were based on architectonic features such as walkways, stairs, ramps, roof planes, floor systems, integrated sitting and platforms as well as other architectonic features. Furthermore all three compositions work as systems instead of single elements (pieces). An array of different techniques learned from previous tutorials were applied during the planning and construction process based on a series of explorations and studies: 1st (red). Study of vertical elements and control of shapes.
2nd (orange). Creation of enclosure, connections of surfaces and spatial tension.
3rd (blue). Movement through space.
